This trip is perfect for novices skiers wishing to experience the thrill of Himalayan winter activities. There’s lots of instruction and tuition from experienced local guides and the opportunity to test your skill as the week progresses. You’ll visit a few different areas and get a complete taste of skiing in the famous Kullu Valley. You’ll stay in a comfortable camp nearby the slopes in Solang which will mean the maximum amount of time can be spent on the slopes. Hopefully by the end of the trip you’ll become an accomplished skier.

Trip Details

Day 1 – Arrive in Manali in the morning and transfer straight to a nearby hotel. We’ll spend the afternoon having a walk around the town of Manali and look at some of the famous sights.

Day 2 – After breakfast we’ll drive up the valley and then walk up to our camp. We’ll have lunch together and talk about the days ahead and then take a walk somewhere in the area to help with your acclimatisation.

Day 3 – We’ll spend the morning going through all the equipment you’ll be using. After collecting your equipment you’ll then head out onto the slopes and start to learn the basics. After lunch we’ll continue the lessons and hopefully you’ll start to gain some confidence on your skis.
